Terminal 1 Sandwich Bar
This project has one primary goal: visually attracting potential customers and offering them a rich experience through the interiors in their food & beverage journey. The concept behind this sandwich bar revolves around sandwich enthusiasts arriving at an industrial yet lively scaled-down airport terminal. Customers would be initially attracted to the spot when driving past it via a bright purple sign. Once they enter the space, they are immediately directed to the “Check-In” counter through an arrow-marked floor strip. This then leads them to the “Meal Claim”, which next guides them to a junction that branches to “gates 1-4” which represent tables 1-4, “gates 5-6”, and “events area” which is upstairs. There is a heavy reliance on perforated metal, metal mesh, exposed ceilings, rough concrete-textured walls, and epoxy floors to provide an industrial feel as well as guarantee the maximum amount of durability considering there will be high traffic in these areas. The 3 primary colors are divided between the areas as shown in one of the diagrams below, to give each zone its own feel.
